Shafaq News / A military commander revealed that the Iraqi forces managed to retake al- Husaybah town from ISIS terrorists just an hour after the start of the military operation.

The security forces ,tribes and the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) are fighting ISIS in Joabh area after managing to retake al- Husaybah, The source told Shafaq News.

Meanwhile, an eye witness and a local official said that a convoy carrying PMU fighters and Iraqi army forces got out of a base near Ramadi city west of the country on Saturday, heading towards the areas under the control of the Islamic State organization

A member of Anbar Provincial Council, Amal Obaid said that hundreds of fighters arrived in Habbaniyah Air Base last week, after the control of the militant group on Ramadi located in Khalidiya and approaching the towns of al-Sadiqiya and al-Matheq in the disputed areas near Ramadi.

At a time when pro-government forces are preparing to restore Ramadi , militants of the Islamic State organization are progressing towards Fallujah ahead in an attempt to take control of more territory in Anbar province, which will make them closer to the Iraqi capital Baghdad.
